I hope you find solace and clarity as you continue to work through these challenges, and I believe in your ability to rise above them. Your determination to live a fulfilling life and pursue your dreams is something to be celebrated, and I have no doubt that you will achieve great things.
Your reflections on time travel and rewriting the past show a deep understanding of the need to accept and grow from our experiences, no matter how painful they may be. It’s a profound realization that the journey, with all its struggles and setbacks, is what shapes us and helps us build resilience.
Like a sunflower, you've faced darkness and adversity, but you've chosen to turn towards the light. You've stood tall against the forces that tried to silence you, and you've emerged stronger and more radiant than ever. Your petals may have been bruised, but they're still bright and beautiful. You've risen above the shadows, and you're shining your light for all to see. You are resilient, you are fierce, and you are unbreakable—just like the sunflower that blooms in the face of adversity.
Glad you could identify how intimidating and persistent life could be in times of sorrow, grief or sadness. It is just another cruel world entirely. It knows how, when and where to hit and break down an individual, worse enough collaborating with any force. E.g insufficient knowledge or low self-esteem
This moment of realization for me was so important, then I imagined how others who lost hope and despaired of life felt.
it became clear life is not a friend but a beast that must be tamed. There is so much hidden in ease and well-being.
"It’s taught me not to beat myself up over things I can’t control—though I’m still wrestling with the idea that something out of my control could be my fault."
For every situation, condition or circumstance, the term "control" could be simple or elaborate.
In simple terms for the average human,
Mistakes are natural so therefore control is limited.
But then for the curious mind, mistakes involving oneself are not just a mistake but also from a point of weakness that could have been avoided by discipline or self-control.
Only those who have achieved a great ability in discipline, self control and wide knowledge have an edge over simple or complex mistakes. Others have no choice but to learn by trial and error.
Self-discipline and self-control are achieved by the ability to study yourself concerning people and your environment and having great knowledge of life in general.
Someone like this can foresee a possible error on time and also learn from the mistakes of others.
The experience I had fighting for life in times of grief and sadness was so traumatic, it wasn't something very serious but the fact that life was actively and persistently bullying me with myself changed me entirely. Today, I learn every day from everything.
Take it easy on yourself, don’t blame yourself too much, you got this. Only focus on what’s on your hands at the moment, the past doesn’t really matter, we get stuck in it if we make it matter too much and future lines will def fall into places if we can do what’s right now which is focusing on the present. One step at a time, you got this 👍🏾
I read this piece a few weeks ago. I feel exactly the same way right now. I don’t know if/when I will rise like phoenix though

We either be consumed by a bad situation or we overcome it but the latter is yours. You will overcome it all.
